Managed the development and implementation of Aurora’s electronic health record across 15 hospitals and to over 150 clinic locations. Responsible for solutions in support of physician order entry (CPOE), medication barcoding, nursing and ancillary documentation; partnering with clinical leaders and site administration in the rollout and adoption.• Coordinated and facilitated inter-disciplinary design teams comprised of clinical staff and directed the upgrade and configuration of the electronic health record to meet business specifications. • Collaborated in organizational design of a Clinical Adoption and Transformation team and a Clinical Informatics Education team to partner with IT in system design and deployment.• Led analysis and development of HITECH stage 1 Meaningful Use criteria for Aurora hospitals. Oversaw successful Meaningful Use attestation for 5 hospitals.• Led the implementation of the electronic health record at four hospitals in 2010. Responsible for the definition, development and implementation of documentation and workflow tools to support hospital based nursing and ancillary departments across 13 hospitals.• Managed the deployment of new solution within the hospitals, coordinating hardware implementation, process change analysis, training and conversion support.
