My work is underpinned by a strong values base and belief system in regards the rights, strengths and choices of vulnerable children and young people. I am passionate about the alignment of my work environment beliefs and values with my own professional values and ethics.I am a values driven leader who thrives on developing high performing teams and enhancing foundations to build innovative services in a multitude of arenas, including child and family services, justice and forensic services, health and working with asylum seekers.My current role has provided me with experience within sectors representing children, adolescents, adults and parents impacted by a range of issues including individual capacity, family systems and disengagement, social exclusion and disadvantage, cultural diversity and indigenous status, as well as community education and capacity to support those who have become marginalised.I have been a leader in the development of systems and processes to embed practice change and enhancement; following major re-strategising and redevelopment of business directions, ensuring continual improvement and innovation in accordance with relevant legislative theoretical frameworks. My role requires me to take the lead in assisting in the development of strategies and supporting program capability to guide growth and enhancement. I have established risk assessments, policy platforms, internal processes and practice frameworks for the ongoing accreditation against Human Services Standards, NDIS Outcomes Standards, Victorian and National Child Safety Standards as well as ISO Governance Standards. Most recently I have taken a lead role in the review and implementation of child safe standards for the organisation to ensure all programs are compulsory to the minimum standards across Victoria.
