Marketing Executive | Creative Thinker | Results-DrivenHello! I’m a 24-year-old Marketing Executive with a rather unconventional journey. I started my career in retail, juggling jobs from 17 to 20 while studying. In 2018, I embarked on a new adventure at university, graduating in 2021 with a second-class honours Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminology.During my studies, I volunteered at Citizens Advice and even created a report on hate crimes in my local area. You might be wondering, “How did I end up in marketing?” Well, after my degree, I decided to pivot and apply my skills in a completely different field.I have a passion for social media, creativity, and seeing tangible results. So, in 2021, I completed a digital marketing apprenticeship with Basingstoke ITEC while working at Intouch Communications, a B2B telecoms company. This apprenticeship laid the foundation for my marketing career. I built up the marketing team at Intouch, strengthened the company’s brand, and discovered my love for web development, focusing on user experience and detail-oriented work.After three years at Intouch, I sought a new challenge and joined Xeretec in 2024. Xeretec is a managed IT company dedicated to providing optimal solutions for customers, reducing costs, and minimising environmental impact. Here, I’m expanding my marketing knowledge and thriving in a team of motivated individuals committed to customer satisfaction and community building.Taking the leap into marketing has been one of the best decisions I’ve made, and I’m eager to connect with others in this dynamic field. I’m also a strong advocate for mental health awareness and frequently discuss mental health in the workplace.
