I am a graduate from the CAAP program of Santa Clara University, and had completed my bachelor’s degree in Business Management and Economics in UC Santa Cruz. My main field of study is economics with an emphasis in marketing and public relations. Upon completion of CAAP, I am now preparing for the CPA exam and am ready to further my career path in the accounting field.I am a motivated and outgoing individual who enjoys working in a people-oriented environment. Interacting with fellow team members in brainstorming constructive ideas to achieve a common goal is valuable and rewarding to me. I believe my organizational skills, willingness to learn, and along with the ability to think spontaneously make me an effective team member. Post graduation, I was fortunate to be selected to join the internship with Global Mobility Tax. Through various tax training sessions and hands on experience with the process of filing tax returns during busy tax season, I was rewarded with wealth of knowledge about tax and how to tailor the most advantageous tax position for each of our clients. We work with individuals that brings along colorful and personal situations that requires details and focus in order to carefully strategize calculate the best tax planning. This internship allowed me to build knowledge day by day.My overseas job opportunity was the post as the production manager of a startup film and entertainment company situated in Beijing, China, which primarily creates web series, T.V. commercials, and overseas distribution of various Hollywood movies. This my step out of the comfort zone with exposure to a new and unfamiliar Chinese culture oriented working environment. I learned the cruciality of social networking and strengthened my communication skills, ability to multi-task, adapting to new accounting methods and procedures, and the flexibility in handling various situations.
