CurrentLeads The Conservation Foundation’s DuPage County programs and partnerships that fulfill our mission to improve the health of our communities by preserving and restoring natural areas and open space, protecting rivers and watersheds, and promoting stewardship of the environment. This mission is currently achieved in DuPage country through a slate of land and water preservation programs along with an array of community-based conservation efforts. • Lead and manage TCF’s programs and priorities in DuPage County, including expanding community engagement, coalition and network building, Nature Rx initiatives, and supporting land conservation, river and watershed protection, sustainable development, youth and adult education and outreach, and Conservation @ Home program priorities. • Establish and maintain positive and collaborative relationships with key stakeholders including community-based organizations, TCF’s DuPage Advisory Council, local units of government, and other stakeholder groups that lead to successful community-based conservation. • Help build public support for TCF and its programs that lead to increased membership and funding.
