Recently asked my job title, I jokingly responded “general factotum?” I function in multiple areas, including all aspects of Customer Service, Operations & Training, HR/Recruiting, client communications, reporting and analysis, writing, and admin work. Create a report? Develop training materials? Parse the language of an employment statute, or the requirements of an RFP? I’m the go-to-gal!Find me under “nerd:” from the Scripps Howard Spelling Bee (1st place in the 5th grade, and 3rd place in the whole town!), to MathCounts Mathlete, to my television debut on Granite State Challenge. From standardized test-taker extraordinaire, to magna cum laude. Sugar Plum Fairy, Snow Queen, Mary Poppins. Maybe I’m a cliché? I rather like to think of myself as a modern classic.My ten plus years in the Staffing Industry proved a strong foundation in Recruiting, Staffing, and Client Relations. I began as Staffing Coordinator, with duties in all things HR – interviewing, new hire paperwork, skill matching, temporary placements, payroll, workers comp, employee relations, and unemployment claims. Trusted by companies of all sizes, from local businesses to Fortune 50 Corporations, my career naturally grew into client “champion” roles, and then to a position as Adecco’s Onsite Coordinator at the GE Aircraft Engines headquarters in Cincinnati, where I worked closely with management and leadership of both Adecco and GE, as well as multiple third-party vendors. In my final two years there, I was invited to join a dedicated recruiting team, identifying and recruiting top talent for direct employment with GE. When my children were younger, I accepted the challenging position of “Family Operations Officer and Finder of Missing Legos” and coupled that with part-time retail work, as well as volunteer engagement. Now with The LMC Group, I am happily engaged in daily challenges, working side by side with my amazing colleagues, and in close relationship with our fantastic circle of clients.
