Within this role I developed my computer skills, communication skills and time management. I had to liaise between the different departments to ensure that everything went smoothly and the customers were happy. I also managed the database, all advertising for the company and any marketing campaigns and events we did for all departments of the company. After 6 years in this role I was moved into a company marketing role. While doing this role I built relationships with each Manager in the business to gauge what they required from their marketing budgets and then worked closely with advertisers and designers in order to get this done to the best it could be. I was in charge of creating the website via a design company for L & S Copcutt & Son and dealing with all the social media.I was transferred to the new Subaru site to get the Marketing and Advertising up and running and build a strong brand. Again I was charged with the design and build of a new website, I was able to construct a fantastic working relationship with the web designer who now deals with all of our groups design needs. Although I am based at Subaru, I do the marketing campaigns and advertising for both sites (Toyota & Subaru) working closely with the Managers to stay within budget but at the same time to get the best brand awareness possible. As this was a new company I had to have a hand in several areas due to low staff in the upstart. With my experience in vehicle administration I learned the new system quickly and was able to deal with all sales admin quickly and efficiently. I also had to learn about the aftersales side of the business as I was in charge of booking customers in to both the workshop and bodyshop, dealing with all the paperwork involved in a timely manner so that the customer had their car at the designated time. This varied role has built my confidence and communication skills and I believe that my knowledge can be transferred into a variety of roles.

In this small family run business I dealt with all of the advertising campaigns for the company and the Marketing strategies alongside the Company Directors. I worked closely with the local businesses to develop working relationships for both parties. As a sponsor of a local Ice Hockey team I was responsible for the Corporate Hospitality we did on match nights, I was able to build a strong bond with the General Manager in order to develop both companies’ requirements and build their brand alongside.
