I assist with artificial intelligence training through identifying benthic substrata, with images collected from ReefScan, helping to identify areas in need of restoration. I have also assisted in the preparation and deployment of coral devices for conditioning ahead of coral spawning.

Conduct benthic habitat analysis via remote data analysis using ReefCloud AI software, including coral species, sponge, algae and substrate identification and/or classification. Assist with report preparation. Woodside – Scarborough Marine Scientist (Remote) Conducted benthic habitat surveys via remote data analysis using ReefCloud AI software. Includes identification of major benthic coral reef taxa. NEOM – Saudi Arabia Marine Scientist. Conducted benthic habitat surveys via remote data analysis. Ensures habitat mapping and baseline assessment can be formed.Hall Contracting, Townsville QLD I acted as weekend environmental support. I conducted and reported daily environmental site inspections. Field surveys to collect and preserve sediment samples for acid sulphate analysis/ laboratory analysis. Ensure appropriate chain of custody for sediment samples. Mapping of sample collection locations via GPS. Responsible for data entry and lime calculations. Previously included the collection of water samples for water quality assessment.GHD, Townsville QLD Compiled daily water quality monitoring reports (temperature, turbidity, pH, salinity) from telemetry data as required. Monitored for potential errors in telemetry equipment.Port of Townsville, Townsville QLD Conducted quarterly benthic surveys at compliance and reference sites as part of the Coral Monitoring Programme (CMP) for the Port of Townsville. Assisted with subsequent data entry, processing, and analysis.Port of Townsville – Port of Townsville Channel Upgrade Project/ Coral Monitoring Programme - Conducted coral bleaching assessment surveys to determine the health of coral populations at the compliance sites for the CMP. Assisted with subsequent data entry, data processing, analysis and reporting.

I am sub-contracted to assist with benthic surveys, long-term monitoring, scientific diving and reef health impact surveys (RHIS), as required.

I acted as safety diver and HUET Instructor for the Helicopter Underwater Escape Training (HUET) conducted by ERGT and the Australian Defence Force. I taught the sea survival component and was cross trained in instructing the use of emergency breathing systems (EBS) and Shallow Water Egress Trainers (SWET).

In addition to roles previously specified. I assisted with behavioural trials, in order to gain a better understanding of sponge larval ecology.

Queensland, Australia

I assisted with fieldwork at Orpheus Island Research Station. This included scientific diving, the collection of sponge samples for use in the laboratory, conducting sponge biopsies, collection of sponge larvae and the deployment and retrieval of hydrophones. I also assisted with benthic surveys. As is mandatory for both the JCU and SCU dive registers, I also conduct diver safety watch and skipper the dingy on a rotational basis.

I was the Executive Assistant to the Executive Management Team (EMT), a role in which I was required to anticipate the needs of the EMT. This involved extensive diary management and administrative support. I effectively communicated and quickly formed productive working relationships across the organisation in order to support the positive flow of business associated with the CEO and Chair. In addition, I collaborated with the Governance Team to collate reports for CEO and Chair approval in tandem with complex committee meeting cycles. I minuted meetings, recorded key points of discussion, decisions and actions. I produced and circulated formal minutes and tracked action completion.

My role evolved from acting as a legal assistant, aiding both the Legal Cousel and the Legal PA to taking on the position of Legal PA as maternity cover. In addition I was part of the HR Business Support Team.I worked closely with the Legal Counsel/Company Secretary to provide excellent organisational and administrative support. This included editing contracts, powers of Attorney, collateral warranties and other legal documentation as well as extensive diary management. I liaised externally with executives and their PA's to organise meetings, co-ordinate diaries and schedule interviews. I operated with a high degree of autonomy and had experience in dealing with varied and challenging workloads. I was also responsible for organising regular Board Meetings, liasing with the 13 Partners with regard to agenda items. I ensured timely collation and production of paperwork, to distribute to the Partners, keeping to a consistent and accessible format. This required excellent organisational skills with exceptional time management with competing priorities in an often deadline orientated environment. I regularly worked with multi-disciplinary teams and communicated worldwide at all levels within the organisation. I maintained a high level of confidentiality and discretion at all times. Within the HR department I provided support at every stage of the HR cycle, particularly recruitment and selection involving scheduling interviews and leading and preparing inductions. I co-ordinated and implemented office procedures within the legal and HR departments. I was responsible for the maintenance of internal database systems, ensuring that information was accurate and correctly recorded. In addition, I had experience of extensive diary management, arranging appointments with both internal and external parties, ensuring best utilisation of time. I answered and screened all telephone calls, taking messages, dealt with queries where possible and prioritised calls.
