I hold an honorary contract with the University of Bristol due to my longstanding role as a professional mentor for undergraduate medical students, as well as my contributions to undergraduate teaching in a range of areas.

I undertook a six-month rotation in Stroke medicine and a four-month rotation on a ward specialising in the care of patients with dementia. My responsibilities in Stroke included managing the inpatient ward, leading thombolysis calls, TIA clinic, and seeing inpatient referrals.

I developed a service to provide geriatric medicine in-reach for older patients on general surgical wards.

I undertook a nine-month rotation on the Hip Fracture Unit, followed by three months on a ward specialising in the care of people with dementia.

I worked in a range of inpatient settings including general geriatrics wards, front door geriatrics, and an inpatient unit for people with dementia. My outpatient clinics were in general medicine and movement disorders.

I worked in a team of five fellows to deliver a large proportion of the undergraduate medical curriculum to University of Bristol students at the Royal United Hospital. Teaching modalities included bedside teaching, simulation, tutorials, and lectures. I designed and co-ordinated a range of formative and summative examinations, and was involved in standard setting for the University.
