Clinical Manager with over 24 years of experience in the field of Ophthalmology including general, pediatrics & retina subspecialties. I began my career in general ophthalmology right out of high school in the year 2000. I quickly fell in love with the field & obtained my COA certification in 2001. I briefly worked in pediatric ophthalmology but eventually landed in retina & found it to be my true passion. I love all areas of ophthalmology but working with retina patients allows me to make a difference in my patients lives as they are mostly all battling some sort of blinding eye disease. I have been in the role of clinic manager for approximately 10 years total & have passion for training, motivating & guiding my clinic team.I have additional experience in ophthalmic billing & in planning/co-ordinating continuing education events for Allied Health professionals.
