McLeod Health's cardiology department relies on my skills and experience as a Cardiac Device Technician to deliver high-quality cardiac care to our patients. I hold a Certified Cardiographic Technician (CCT) credential and have 20+ years of medical service in the field. I perform various cardiac monitoring procedures, such as holter, mobile cardiac telemetry (MCOT), event monitor, and pacemaker transtelephonic monitoring (TTM), as well as holter analysis, triage, and EKG. In addition to my technical competencies, I also handle scheduling, medical records, and clerical duties for our department, ensuring smooth and efficient operations. I have a passion for medical service and a long history of working in emergency settings, starting as a junior member on Timmonsville Rescue Squad in 1994. I have developed strong oral communication, teamwork, and emergency response skills, as well as the ability to handle complex and stressful situations with professionalism and compassion. My mission is to provide the best possible care to our patients and to support our cardiology team.
