Led research for a women's empowerment strategy and initiated an all-female solar installer team model for replication across different contexts. Developed strategy and new program offerings and managed key partnerships for an international education program, We Share Solar (www.wesharesolar.org), to reach more students through hands-on renewable energy education and bring reliable electricity to schools in energy-scarce regions of the world. In a regional role covering 13 Southern African countries, consulted with high-level government officials to identify priority program areas related to migration, including but not limited to counter-trafficking, diaspora engagement, labor migration, and disaster risk management. Partnered with stakeholders and cross-functionally with experts within the IOM network to develop interventions and policy frameworks, liaised with the international donor community to identify partnership opportunities, and worked closely with senior government officials to align programs with national development strategies. This included but is not limited to securing USAID's first post-political crisis award to support IOM's counter-trafficking project in Madagascar. Played an instrumental role in establishing IOM offices in Madagascar and Malawi, recruiting local staff, leading operations, and representing IOM at UN meetings and other diplomatic fora. Led senior stakeholder engagements at IOM headquarters to initiate the MigApp Project, which promotes migrants' access to resources through mobile technology.

Secured funding for and managed a large-scale community gardening project to improve nutrition at an elementary school serving 200 students. Directed a women’s leadership camp for twenty female students, ages 14-18.
