Project Archivist - Kings FundLondon Metropolitan Archives Oct 2014 - Mar 2016LondonSole project archivist cataloguing the archives from the King Edward's Hospital Fund for London, now The King's Fund. The project was funded by the Wellcome Trust's Research Resources grant stream and required the appraising, sorting and cataloguing of several separate deposits of records from the Fund, running in total to around 133 linear metres of archives and the re-arrangement of previously catalogued earlier deposits to meet modern cataloguing standards and the successful integration of the new deposits. The cataloguing work included creating descriptive elements, such as scope and content notes and appraisal and accrual information, in line with ISAD(G) data elements, entering and editing data into LMA's electronic cataloguing system. Also an important part of the project was maintaining contact with the depositor, identifying archives for use in social media and other promotional activities and organising and hosting public sessions about the collections -
