Director and teacher of private preschool. I am the head teacher of a full day 4's program. I am also responsible for all licensing and compliance requirements. I have the privilege of working with 26 families every year.

Mother Of God School And St. Catherine Laboure School

I taught K-3 students art classes at Mother of God from 2006-2008. I taught PreK-8 students 2004-2008, I created standards based lessons for over 400 students every week. I designed my own curriculum based on Indiana State Standards which were being used by our schools at that time. I lead an after school club for junior high students where we made rosaries for missions. Designed background and costumes for annual holiday shows. Organized and implemented school-wide art shows each year at St. Catherine Laboure. Wrote and received Washington Post's Grants in the Arts award. Received Teacher of the Year Award from St. Catherine Laboure 2006-2007.

Organized annual staff development meetings. Designed scope and sequence for school accreditation. Reviewed accreditation applications. Assisted in development of proposed Kindergarten reading readiness curriculum. Taught 4 and 5 year olds in a Prekindergarten class. Worked and collaborated with a supportive team of teachers to build strong, exciting, creative and developmentally appropriate lessons.
