Teach 5th and 6th graders the Science Standards of California over the course of the week. Classes include: Geology, archery, botany, ecology, natural resources, meteorology, survival/ exploration, astronomy, rock climbing and night hiking.

Developed and taught environmental education for 6th-8th grade students. Assisted with retreat hosting, hospitality services, and maintenance of the camp. Planned an implemented a sponsored mother and daughter retreat experience. Helped with the planning and implementation of the Road Scholar program. Planned and led worship services, challenge course, hikes, and any other services requested.

Developed and led summer camp programming for groups of up-to 20 school-age campers at a small Lutheran camp and supervised 2 counselors. Developed traditional camp sessions, was responsible for an urban servant camp where I coordinated service volunteers and recipients during a week-long service period. Programmed and coordinated 2 weeks of day camp in congregations as well.

Developed and taught outdoor education to 4th- 10th grade students. Courses included: voyageur canoeing, team building, low ropes, mid ropes, climbing tower and zip line, archery, orienteering, survival skills. Presented course material to groups of 10-15 students at a time. Led evening camper social activities and campfires. Assisted with retreat hosting and hospitality services. Oversaw the implementation of the service project part of their week of camp.

Assisted with grant work and taught environmental education to groups of 8-15 campers. Environmental education topics included: hiking, biking, archery, mini golf, adventure course, and outdoor safety. Developed the environmental education curriculum portion of the Outdoor Wildlife Learning Sites (OWLS) grant from North Dakota Fish and Game Department. Developed Outback Challenge Week programming, a week in which 7th-9th graders explore the outdoors, live in tipis, and cook over open fires while learning about nature.

Hosted retreats and taught environmental education to weekly groups of 4-15 students ranging in age from 6 to 17, in a Christian environment. Planned and led a whitewater rafting trip for high school age campers. Led bible studies and activities, and assisted with worship and campfires during the summer. Assisted with various camp functions which included: retreat hosting, hospitality, and food service.

Hosted retreats, taught environmental education to K-6th graders. Planned and implemented programs that included a scrapbooking retreat. Assisted with camp maintenance and preparation for new guests.

Assisted full-time on national service programs in a team-based environment. Assigned projects included: working at a food bank packaging and delivering food for those in need, the improvement of grounds and facility at a children's home through maintenance work; trail construction from two of the Fourteeners wild lands in Colorado and assisted at a therapeutic riding center for children and adults with disabilities.
