Analyzed and monitored several aspects of Finance including Cost Accounting (assigning standard costs - material, labor and overhead, monitoring BOM changes, controlling physical inventories, monitoring inventory variances to the GL, reporting costs per unit for manufacturing and analyzing cost variances), A/P (monitoring invoices, vendor payments and reconciling AP subledger to GL), A/R (ensuring payments are applied correctly, monitoring sales price changes and reconciling AR subledger to GL), creating and posting General Ledger entries during closing activities monthly, quarterly and yearly, responsible for annual budget compilation for entire plant; assist Managers in analyzing their expenses; ensure annual audit requirements are met; assisted with implementation of new ERP system; create cashflow forecasts monthly.

Originally hired as a Materials Planner and then transferred to Accounting. In the Accounting department I analyzed fluctuations in inventory and cost variances, conducted bi-annual WIP inventories in Roxboro location, conducted full inventories in Mexico plant.
