I am a graduate of Cardiff University business school with a degree in Econ Economics and Finance with over five years experience in investment banking. My University studies helped to develop a good knowledge and understanding of the economy, the factors influencing it and how this translates to the success of investments in individual companies. Whilst in university I attended a paid internship within the Northern Trust Bank in Canary Wharf, London where I was able to put the knowledge I had gained through my degree modules into practice. This gave me a valuable insight into the world of Banking and Finance and following graduation led to pursuing a position within the derivative settlements team of Bank of America Merrill Lynch in Chester. I am an outgoing, enthusiastic and determined individual. I have excellent organisational and problem solving skills which would enable me to work effectively either using my own initiative or as part of a team. My interpersonal skills and previous customer service experience is valuable when working directly with clients.
