Communications Director
CurrentManage Progress Rail’s corporate communications efforts. Develop and implement communication strategies to inform, educate, and engage our global workforce and the general public by facilitating communications with employees, our parent company, Caterpillar, customers and the public. Develop communication strategies for Progress Rail leadership utilizing the most appropriate vehicles. Ensure development, production, and measurement of communication materials. Responsible for speeches, media relations, video scripts, presentations, newsletter articles and leader/employee meetings. Execute successful communication programs that strengthen the understanding of Progress Rail’s strategy, with a focus on improving employee engagement. Work directly with in-house and outside designers and printers to develop and produce communications. Determine budget and manage costs for projects. Provide service of quality and value that facilitates communications and supports the development, marketing, and promotion of products and services. Define a structured communications program and provide leadership to create and develop themes, formats, medias and timetable for programs and presentations from concept to execution.
