A role which I undertook during the weekends of my college education, and then intermittently during breaks between terms of both my undergraduate and postgraduate degrees. In this role, I was expected to act as one of the retail representatives in the front of the store, and assist with general administrative work.

In this role, I took part in a range of events, from open days at the university to outreach opportunities with associated schools to educate children and adults alike on the topic of student life, and specifically life at the University of Kent. This carried with it a responsibility of care for the students and adults I worked with, and the training to do so effectively, which I treated with the utmost severity.

During my degree, I opted to take a "Year in Professional Practice" which allowed me the opportunity to work within the School of Anthropology and Conservation's new Imaging Centre for Life Sciences. Having received the funding for a micro-CT scanner which was newly installed, it was my responsibility to construct standard operating procedures for scanning, communicate with clients once the centre was open for business, and manage social media related to the centre. This included a short course in radiation safety, as I was frequently the one completing the scans requested by clients.
