As Executive Director, I lead the strategic framework for campuswide partnership collaboration and engagement, working directly with campus stakeholders to identify and cultivate “industries of opportunity” while ensuring partnership opportunities are in alignment with the University’s values and mission of teaching, research, and public service. To date, my work has contributed to over $54M in revenue, $94M of value, to the campus. - Collaborate with the Advisory Committee, Executive Director, and Vice Chancellor to set the strategic vision for UPP- Manage campus stakeholders in the development of Request For Proposals and the evaluation of potential partnerships against our Guiding Principles- Lead negotiations with outside organizations to secure best-in-class partnerships for the university- Work with Business Contracts and Legal to draft and execute agreements- Cultivate and maintain positive relationships with current and prospective partners- Advise the Office of the President and peer universities of best practices for university partnerships- Establish program procedures for UPP and facilitate the development of the UBPS department- Manage and mentor UBPS staff to ensure professionalism, efficiency, and high level of customer service

As the Director of Project Affairs, I have worked to develop and implement the University Partnership Program (UPP) at UC Berkeley. UPP builds meaningful, university-wide relationships with business partners by collaborating across units to create partnership opportunities that align with Berkeley’s values and mission of teaching, research and public service. Our program is a pioneer in the evolving industry of partnerships in higher education.I work closely with both our campus stakeholders as well as our external partners to develop these agreements and to ensure that they meet the needs and priorities of both sides. To date, my work has contributed to over 60M in revenue to the campus over the first 10 years of the program.My day to day responsibilities include:- Manage Working Group participation- Communicate with partners regularly to maintain positive relationship- Develop RFP's for new industries of opportunity- Work with Business Contracts and Legal to draft contracts- Oversee the budget- Manage our Communications Manager and Activation Coordinator to ensure all elements of our partnerships are properly fulfilled- Liaise with the students to ensure the student voice is incorporated

- Manage local hunger relief efforts and maintain relationships with our hunger relief partners- Work directly with partners to ensure fulfillment of sponsor entitlements- Oversee onsite activation of sponsor promotions- Plan and manage over 15 events during Bowl Week, including the Kickoff Luncheon for 800 people- Handle day to day bookkeeping tasks as well as support the President through the annual audit process- Hire and manage team of interns- Coordinate volunteer roles for 30 members of the Bowl's Host Committee- Update content on Bowl website

- Hired and managed all water polo staff- Coached athletes ages 6-18- Planned and implemented annual seasonal schedules- Represented the club in speaking engagements, community outreach- Coordinated beginners clinics for prospective athletes- Primary contact for all prospective and current water polo members- Planned and executed club wide fundraisers- Drastically increased membership- Helped to bring the water polo programs toward a break-even financial status
