The Continuum Engineering was formed in January 2005 by Tarun Ghosh and Amy Ghosh. Tarun Ghosh has a PhD in Civil/Structures from University of Southern California and has more than 30 years of experience in aerospace industry. On March 11, 2010, TCE was certified as a Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) by the California Department of Transportation as defined by US Department of Transportation (DOT) per CFR 49 Part 26.On April 25, 2012, TCE was admiteed to the 8(a) Business Development program by the US Small Business Administartion (SBA) per CFR 13 Part 124. Our satisfied clients are: -NASA-Glen Research Center/Cleveland, Ohio Worked on the CoNNeCT program as a sub-contractor to NovaTek/Ohio. The task involved performing structural analysis, modal testing, model validation and correlation, qualification to JAXA launch environment and space station on-orbit environment. - Barry Controls Aerospace (BCA)/Burbank, California Worked on the Airbus A400M Engine Vibration Isolation System. The task involved FE modelling, static and dynamics analyses, fatigue and damage tolerance evaluation. - ATK/Pasadena, California Worked on the Mars Science Laboratory (MSL) project. The task involved FE modelling and analysis of CheMin, integration of Chemin with rover, and modal testing of CheMin components. - Raytheon/El Segundo, California Worked on the Virago project. The task was qualification of commercial over the shelf (COTS) products to aerospace loads and standard. It involved static, dynamic and fatigue analysis and testing.
