Current• Teach a variety of courses including Consumer Education, Digital Literacy, Entrepreneurship, Social Media & Web 2.0 and Web Design• Create detailed lesson and unit plans, fully embracing experiential and project-based learning; adapt curriculum to suit needs of ELL and Special Education students• Responsible for publishing curriculum online using platforms such as Moodle, Blackboard, OpenClass and Schoology• Design and maintain custom-made online Digital Literacy and Consumer Ed courses for summer school and independent study• Lead and collaborate on summer curriculum projects for Digital Literacy and Consumer Education• Collaborate and plan with co-teacher to coordinate lessons that incorporate flexible grouping and classroom activities based on the differentiated learning needs to ensure all students are learning at full potential• Employ reflective teaching practices• Employ formative assessment tools and proactive strategies to guide instruction; use data from summative assessments to inform curricular decisions from year to year • Organize and host the annual Women in Tech panel – a day-long conference for female students interested in careers in technology that includes networking opportunities and a panel of female professionals • Organize field trips to Google, Ferrara-Pan, Triton, DeVry, AT&T and an all-day design thinking workshop to AKTA• Organized and implemented a 3-day after school STEM program to mentor and advise freshman girls• Served as Literacy and Technology Liaison, ACCESS Advisor, Connect Mentor, TechgURLs Sponsor, Interact Sponsor
