On a day-to day basis within my store, my core responsibilities are:● Shift supervision of six junior staff members● Provide support and on-the-job training● Setting sales targets● Stock control● Cash handling and banking● Open/Close of shop● Product merchandising● Maintaining store up- keep● Working within a busy shopping centreAlso, I am a part of our in-store Brand Management team. We are responsible for ensuring the design of seasonal displays are run effectively alongside current promotions. Another thread of my job is acting as Barista Trainer within my store. This involves, ○ One-on-one program with new starts○ Provided training in brand knowledge to ensure the brand is represented in a professional manner at all times. ○ Developed confidence in Management Skills○ Applied Creative Flare○ Increased my organizational ability○ Adapted work to cope under pressure within a busy working environment. I have learnt a lot from this job & enjoy each challenge that is placed into my hands.

My own little creative incentive.When I am not making the coffee or steaming the milk, I lose myself in knitting, drawing, printing & other 'cool' quirky creative stuff to keep my passion in art/fashion/textiles running thru my system. Since graduating in 2009 I have been developing various textile techniques, venturing down avenues that I only touched upon whilst studying. A major player being knit. Paisley Poppet specialises in self taught knitting of woolen jewellery & Cozee Collaz, a take on the popular Snood. I believe strongly in Make Do & Mend.
