I provide intervention services for reading and math in small group settings to students K-8. We use the Systematic Instruction in Phonological Awareness, Phonics, and Sight Words (SIPPS) program to help students who are struggling with reading bring their fluency up to grade level. I also provide TIER 1 behavior management and social emotional learning opportunities to students.

During the pandemic I helped with shifting special education students between in class and online learning and would often provide instruction to students who had been placed on distance learning. I also helped with administration of assessments for incorporation in IEPs and progress reports. I also provided TIER 2 behavior interventions and social emotional learning for students in the special education classroom I was assigned to.
