As a retail sales associate my duties included:-Greeting every customer-Checking out customers efficiently-Assisting customers in returning/exhanging items-Recovering and cleaning up the store during slow periods-Recovering dressing rooms periodically-Keeping my assigned section (Beauty and Handbags) clean, organized, color coordinated as necessary.-Assisting in unloading, unpacking, and sorting truck shipments-Hanging, sizing, and security tagging clothing-Making sure clothing/items have sales tags on them for easy checkout.-Cleaning bathrooms/vacuuming/taking out trash during closing of the store-Monitoring the store and calling Loss Prevention when needed.

I worked full time with Smart Styles by GJPJ. I was employed several months as a Stylist/Receptionist, and was then promoted into Manager. My daily duties included:-Customer Service (Greeting customers, Dealing with any problems, Assisting and recommending retail)-General Retail (Making sales, Cleaning retail space, Front and facing)-Keyholder (Open/close salon by myself, make bank deposits as required)-Stylist duties (Balancing clients and manager duties)As a Manager, I was responsible for running most of the operations of the salon. I would often open and close the salon by myself, and would take the bank deposits after each day of operation. I could also budget out given money for salon orders every two weeks. When those orders arrived I would count, mark/sticker them, and put them up relatively quickly. All of this was balanced between taking clients.

My daily duties included:-Customer service (Greeting customers, Assisting with products questions and recommendations).-Retail Sales (Selling and recommending products, Checking customers out).-Stocking (Going through back stock and filling shelves, Fronting and facing products, Going through inventory)-Cleaning (Dusting product shelves during down time, Cleaning and sanitizing: Front counter, Phones, Stations, Shampoo bowls; All common areas/high traffic areas).My abilities include:-Coloring (Foiling, Frosting Cap, Toning/Corrective Color, Root touch ups/refresh)-Hair Cutting (Trimming, Bang trim, Angled cuts, Stacked cuts, Layered cuts).-Styling (Shampoo and Set; rollers and hot iron, Round brushing, Thermal straightening, Wanding/curling).

I worked part time with Ulta Beauty as a Hair stylist/Receptionist. My daily duties included:-Customer service (Greeting customers, converting clients off the floor, assistant with hair/skin/nail products, color matching).-Retail sales (Upselling products, leading guests to checkout).-Stocking (Going through back stock, Fronting/facing)-Truck/shipment (Unboxing product and unloading pallets, moving product to stock shelves/to sales floor).-Cleaning (Dusting shelves, Cleaning testers, wiping down salon desk, stations, shampoo bowls, implements).I was always applauded for being personable, courteous, and friendly.
