One would say that I put my eggs into many baskets. I have too many interests to count on all of my fingers (maybe even my toes). I, however, wouldn't have it any other way. I've always said that I'm a lifelong learner of anything and everything. This thirst for knowledge has become handy in creating marketing content. What do our consumers want? How can we give that to them? Is this a quality product? The world can change at the drop of hat these days, and finding out what makes consumers tick is one of my main focuses. In this digital age, what types of digital marketing catches consumers' eyes? Between research and analytics we might get a handle on it one day, but the next day it might change. It is a process, but a fun one!In my time with the credit union, I was part of our core upgrade team. I was responsible for testing and validating all pieces of the new system that dealt with lending and making sure that it was all ready to go when we went live. This allowed me to become the lending guru in the new core system, giving me the knowledge to help other staff when they had questions or problems. Outside of work, I am part of the Gallery Committee at the Crossing Arts Alliance, a non-profit featuring local artists and artwork, bringing arts and culture of central Minnesota into the Brainerd Lakes area. When I'm not working, you'll find me reading a good book, drinking a cup of tea, dabbling in writing, learning how to knit, painting and spending time with family and friends.
