• As President and Co-Editor-in-Chief, I manage a staff of 90 writers and editors, organize and conduct bi-weekly meetings, and oversee the writing, editing, and publication process for the Fordham Political Review's online and print publications. Additionally, I serve as the liaison between my publication and Fordham's United Student Government, ensuring that all operations run smoothly.• Within my first year as President and Co-Editor-in-Chief, I led advertising initiatives that resulted in the Fordham Political Review doubling in size. Additionally, I pioneered updates to our Writer and Editor Guides, revised our website to make it more accessible, and promoted greater involvement of our publication in the Fordham community by encouraging writers to cover campus politics and events.• Led efforts to reinstate the Political Review's Print Edition, which culminated in the publication of an Issue featuring 24 articles from the Fall 2022 and Spring 2023 semesters. This was the first time FPR published a Print Edition since Spring of 2020.• Organized and will host Inaugural Intercollegiate Political Review Conference on December 2, 2023.

• As Publicist, my responsibilities consisted of redesigning and managing the website and social media for the Fordham Political Review, as well as designing the layout for each semester’s print publication.• As a Content Editor, my responsibilities consisted of reviewing the content and language of Columnist and Staff Writer pieces, and making suggestions and edits in order to ensure the highest journalistic quality.

• As a Staff Writer, I authored approximately two 1,200-1,500 word articles per month concerning a variety of political issues, with a focus in Eastern European politics.

• As a Senior Editor, my responsibilities consisted of reviewing Notes for the Online and Print Editions of the Undergraduate Law Review, guiding writers through the drafting and editing process, and ensuring each Note met FULR's standards for publication.

• Oversaw a team of approximately 15 Senior Editors, organized Senior Editor workshops to ensure Notes were edited properly and thoroughly, and edited all Notes submitted for both the Print and Online publications.

• As a Business Administrator Assistant, my responsibilities consisted of helping the Business Administrator manage the Undergraduate Law Review's budget and plan events.

• As a Staff Writer, I authored Notes for the Undergraduate Law Review's Online and Print Publications, developing in-depth legal arguments about various issues in the U.S. and abroad.

• Assisted immigration staff in helping Ukrainian immigrants apply for adjustment of status, U.S. citizenship, family petitions, work permits, travel documents, and other immigration benefits.• Strategized, planned, and executed community outreach efforts related to immigration matters, including know-your-rights and citizenship workshops.

• Drafted orders to grant or deny pending motions for default judgment, summary judgment, domestication, and consolidation.• Motions handled were filed in civil actions concerning breaches of contract, fraud, indemnification, mechanics’ liens, negligent misrepresentation, New York labor law, and New York general business law.• Diligently reviewed court documents in NYSCEF and researched case law through LexisNexis and Westlaw.• Attended several hearings and trials, obtaining a thorough understanding of the litigation process.

• Advised the U.S. Embassy’s target audience in Ukraine by developing helpful materials and leading interactive presentations on the U.S. college admissions process, campus culture, and American culture. • Proofread 25 personal statements, conducted 20 mock college interviews, planned and hosted monthly admissions-focused book club with 40 regular attendees.

• Aided Assistant U.S. Attorneys and paralegals by assembling trial materials, writing subpoenas, redacting documents, transcribing calls, and preparing Rule 16 discovery and inspection materials.• Observed court proceedings and attended proffer sessions.

• Awarded two research grants to conduct projects that sought to analyze the extent to which Russia violated international law during the early months of the war in Ukraine (Fall 2022) and how the historiography of the pre-Christian period in eastern Europe informed the development of modern Slavic nationalisms (Summer 2023; planned senior thesis).• Performed archival research at the New York Public Library and Oxford University to bolster project strength.• Invited to participate in Fordham University’s 2023 Undergraduate Research Symposium, where grant awardees presented their findings to a larger audience and council of faculty for review and critique.

• Conducted qualitative research to determine the effectiveness of the BronxWorks food pantry program as a port of entry to other critical services (benefits screening, financial counseling, health insurance enrollment, etc.) that help families suffering from food insecurity to meet their basic needs.• Coded interviews for recurring themes to help determine what strategies were most effective in encouraging food pantry recipients to take advantage of other critical services; data is included in the pending publication.

• Generated fact-based research that provided insight on issues relevant to the campaign platform, such as the Tennessee Tax Economy and the impacts of underfunding in Tennessee’s schools.• Utilized a virtual phone bank to contact 75 to 100 registered and potential voters each week for approximately twelve weeks, providing instructions on how to vote as well as information relevant to our candidate.• Summarized 5 to 10 relevant articles from local news sources daily, providing campaign managers with informative updates on COVID-19, government action, and social issues.

• Attended weekly canvassing events and collaborated with team members to deliver candidate and campaign information to over 300 households, effectively gauging the amount of support present in our area.• Coordinated with several campaign members to emphasize the importance of students’ involvement in politics through educational infographics, resource pamphlets, and flyers.• Assisted in training and recruiting campaign members and volunteers by providing them with the skills necessary for phone banking and canvassing through clear and informative instructions.
