I have been a nurse for over 20 years with experience in cardiac critical care, orthopedic care, family practice, ambulatory care, preoperative and postoperative care. I am now a nurse practitioner focusing on the geriatric population. I have also worked with addiction medicine. To me, taking care of people is not a job, but rather a passion. I chose to advance my career to the next level because I wanted to provide patients with a more individualized and personal approach than I felt I was able to provide as an RN. I enjoy building a rapport with my patients and think it is critical to providing them with a positive outcome.
