QUICK BIO:I am the Chair of the American Bar Association’s China IP Committee, and a partner of a specialized IP law firm (Adsero); my practice focuses on advising Western companies on trademark, copyright, and international business transactions in China and other Asian countries. I have pursued cases through all levels of China’s system and have achieved over 500 successful opposition/nonuse/invalidation proceedings and have won landmark cases on behalf of clients in China, Korea, Indonesia while also setting important precedent involving China’s unfair competition law.
