Responsible for the oversight of compliance programs for the U.S. Human and Animal Health Businesses – Specialty and Traditional Distribution, GPO and Technology Solutions and management of the Company’s Corporate Integrity Agreement (CIA). Provides leadership for key compliance initiatives to ensure alignment with business goals and objectives, and adherence to applicable state and federal laws, regulations and industry codes. Identifies compliance risk areas and develops strategies, plans and program enhancements to address areas of risk.

Key member of in-house legal department for public, pharmaceutical manufacturing company. Provided direct support to members of the senior management team, including the General Counsel, on all matters relating to litigation and other disputes involving the company world-wide. Developed and led implementation of global corporate compliance and privacy program. Led team responsible for Ethics & Compliance hotline, including management and resolution of internal investigations.

Represented corporate entities and their directors and officers in complex commercial, corporate and federal securities litigation. Experienced litigator who practiced in the Delaware Court of Chancery, as well as state and federal courts throughout the country. Provided transactional advice to public and private entities, including on the fiduciary duties of directors and officers and the Delaware General Corporation Law.
