I served as Professional Staff, coaching volunteer Family Coaches in their effort to coordinate volunteer Host Families, Family Friends, hosted children and their parents. Volunteers seek to create a circle of support by building relationships that continue after the hosting. I was privileged to serve these dedicated volunteers and in so doing, the children and families in crisis whom they serve.Additional accomplishments include:Communications - initiate, create and publish monthly newsletter to volunteers; create, implement Communication Strategy; identify, customize, and print marketing materials; build relationships with Marketing experts at the National officeCompliance - analyze compliance issues, recommend and implement solutions; build relationships with Legal experts at the National officeCommunity partnership - identify, reach out to potential Agency partners to increase their awareness, referral of families; develop, implement list of Resources to share with placing families; reach out to local university social work programs, post volunteer opportunities on their job boards, partner regarding potential internship opportunities

This small, Agile team focused on identifying and implementing Test improvements to better enable Bank Product teams to test effectively and efficiently. In less than 12 months, this newly established team completed over 500 stories in 9 EPICs, delivering improved processes, tools and communication forums to Product teams for their consumption.

I led test teams for various Products including Auto Insurance, Fire Insurance, Mutual Funds, Property/Casualty Claims, and Bank. I managed testing via various project approaches including Waterfall and Agile resulting in on-time, on-budget, delivery of quality software applications to production. I was selected to re-locate from Bloomington to Richardson in June 2015 as Test Manager for State Farm Bank.

I was the Release Test Manager for Claims Systems changes. I led a team of IT Software Test Managers spanning several sub-systems whose Changes implemented together in Releases.

I managed a team of 20 Software Developers in support of State Farm's Life Insurance products.

I worked on a variety of projects including Rate Changes, Billing, Payments and Infrastructure changes. I determined Requirements, wrote and executed test cases, tracked defects, managed risks and dependencies with other projects, and communicated with Business Partners and operational users.

Reporting to the Director, I supervised a team of 15 Call Center Customer Service Representatives in support of Managed Care for Medicaid Recipients. We provided support to Providers and Policyholders.

Reporting to the President, I managed a staff of 19 direct reports in the management of insurance operations for 50+ Captive Insurance Companies.

Reporting to the Marketing Manager, I supervised a team of 5 marketing analysts who prepared marketing reports to Clients, created Newsletters, participated in Trade Shows by preparing materials and working our booth.

Reporting to the Director, I led 3 Supervisor direct reports in the management of 30-person Statistical Department in the collection, analysis and filing of required statistical data.
