Consults with end users to understand business processes and to assist them in becoming more efficient and effective utilizing the Banner ERP. Provides technical assistance and resolutions by responding to inquiries regarding problems, questions, or errors. Partners with clients to gather requirements about business process flow, application intent, functions, features, data, input and output requirements, etc. to optimize and/or enhance business processes. Provides technical guidance and develops SQL, PL/SQL, and COGNOS reports.

Career at WKU began as a Programmer/Analyst responsible for system analysis, system design, development, and support. Progressed to Coordinator of Project Management to lead project management for the department of Administrative Computing Services. Developed standards for conducting project management, provided leadership for project leaders in the development and implementation of application systems for the University. After a few years was promoted to Applications and Programming Group Manager. Provided managerial, technical, and functional leadership to team to provide outstanding support to various offices on campus. Consulted with users to identify solutions to make their processes more efficient and to take advantage of the ERP's functionality. Provided analytical, programming, report development and project management to core business offices such as Human Resources, Payroll, and Budget. Integrated third party systems with the ERP.
