I have 14+years of education and experience in curriculum creation and design. I have worked tirelessly building successful content for both in-person and virtual climates scaling populations of over 8,000 individuals. I am passionate about people, problem solving, and seeing projects to fulfillment, which includes making a way to understand the situation – along with the how, what, when, where, and why through the processes. I flourish in climates steeped in creative thought, implementation, and a passion for diversity. I have a drive for efficiency, as it is a prominent key for success in creating effective programs. In tandem with curriculum development/design and implementation, project management has become a staple in my career. Project based learning is one of the core educational implementations I manage throughout the year. This innovative approach to learning allows a creative and hands-on approach to drive solutions. From obtaining partnerships, to evaluating student solutions, I am pleased to report that 100% of goals which are set, are met. The adult learners affected by the curriculum self-reported a 40% increase in their ability to solve a company problem, if asked to do so, while also reporting a substantial increase in their comfortability to work in a diverse team environment, even if it was through distance collaboration. Creation of this project has allowed me to present on this topic both nationally and internationally. Another project I manage and develop assists adult learners with communication and articulation. This event connects approximately 4,000 unique individuals each year.I have extensive experience working with corporate partners developing workshops pertaining to leadership, communication, and adaptability. I have also served as a mentor to under-represented populations in corporate settings in assisting them with career and professional development. My job demands the ability to multi-task, be strategic, collaborative, patient, creative, empathetic, and be very detailed. I currently oversee the curriculum development and implementation of Business Administration 300 in the Haslam College of Business at The University of Tennessee, Knoxville.
