Directly supervised 10 machinists. --Earned Officer of the Deck Qualification, and regularly served in that role; in charge of safe navigation of ship at sea, in-port, and during Special Evolutions. --Earned Surface Warfare Officer Qualification, proving expertise in shiphandling, use of ship’s capabilities and sensors, as well as allied and enemy weapons systems, in order to execute any mission at sea.--Awarded Navy/Marine Corps Achievement Medal for exceptional leadership resulting in multiple successful audits and inspections of galley equipment during the ship’s 2012 Supply Management Certification.
