Ely & Walker division - Western Shirtings• Design & Development of mens, womens, & kids woven western shirts, outerwear, licensed Jack Daniel’s apparel, and private label apparel for mass retailers.• Oversee all stages of development - from trend & color research to concept presentations through final production sample approval: fabric, materials, & trim development, sample development & approvals, woven pattern CADs, tech packs, size specs, Illustrator sketches, sales presentation printed materials.• Daily communication with all domestic and overseas suppliers on all development aspectsensuring design integrity and timely delivery.• Manage all licensed brand compliance, concept submissions through production approval processes.• Travel to Asia for research and coordination with vendors on development & production sourcing.• Collaboration with merchandising & import teams on supplier strategies, solution negotiation, and communication of changes.• Manage details of supplier product placement, such as cost negotiation and development timelines.• Expanded house brand from primarily mens traditional western to multiple categories including mens fashion western, workwear, outerwear, womens, and kids.
