Over 250 people signed up in under a week and department officials informed me that it was creative and impactful. • Taking the initiative to develop staff engagement across the directorate which has included developing a successful away day and development programme for the team and co-developing directorate meetings.

Achievements- Managed the external and internal communications around flagship event, Tri Together. I secured a double page spread in My Weekly, including website details, photographic branding and mention in the text, and built relationships with influential regional newspapers and radio stations across the UK.- Sourcing and coordinating celebrity quotes at one of the charity's high profile events; 'Newsroom's Got Talent'. This involved talking directly to BBC, ITV, Sky, Channel 4, and Channel 5 newsreaders to get quotes that were used in the national press release. The story generated positive coverage in HELLO!, with photos, quotes, and interviews from celebrities who took part.- Coordinated film crews and briefing photographers for the charity's key influencing programme, Change100 programme. This involved writing the brief for the film company, coordinating the filming on-site and coming up with creative ideas. I also liaised with the third party design agency who created the look and feel of the brand. - Responsible for managing community engagement newsletter that is sent out to over 300 members of staff, which includes sourcing stories and editing copy.- I also worked on the charity's award winning 'End 15-minute care' campaign. This generated nearly 900 pieces of media coverage, including front page of The Times and was the lead story on all the major news broadcast outlets. - Responsible for the monitoring of all press coverage and creating metrics by which to evaluate the success of media campaigns.- Press release written for national fundraising event received positive praise and feedback from Leonard Cheshire's chairman Ilyas Khan. I was part of the press team working on the event which achieved coverage on Sky Sunrise, Daily Mirror, trade and regional print and broadcast.
