With 20 years of research experience, I bring a unique perspective to science communication, rooted in an understanding of nuanced scientific inquiry. This foundation enables me to translate complex scientific concepts into clear, accessible content, bridging the gap between scientists and diverse audiences, from technical experts to non-specialists.I currently support NOAA/NASA’s Joint Polar Satellite System (JPSS) program at NASA Goddard Space Flight Center, where I author the LEO Science Digest, an annual publication highlighting the applications and benefits of low Earth orbit (LEO) observations. The book can be downloaded as a PDF at www.nesdis.noaa.gov/science-digest. In addition to my career in the sciences, I am a visual artist with experience leading city-wide programs that build community within the arts.
