Certified International Baccalaureate Elementary TeacherProvided students with differentiation instruction in reading, writing and math. Created curriculum and implemented instruction in units of study in the social studies/science as it related to the inquiry based thinking model of IB teaching. Served on the Multicultural Committee, tutored students after school, as well as coordinated grade level field trips. Sponsored an FAU teacher in training and middle school volunteer. Became trained and successfully implemented the Wilson Fundations reading program in a small group setting within the classroom. While in this position, numerous writing workshops were attended and a vast amount of experience was obtained in creating writing rubrics, assessing writing, utilizing writer's workshop in the classroom.
