I was hired to start the mortgage department at South Metro Fed CU. This included to develop two systems, the procedures, hire and train personnel to sustain the department once goal was completed. Extensive IT system development with two new system to integrate with outside providers. Extensive developments with TRID and compliance from 10/3/15. Oversee Closing Department including managing four employees, disbursing workflow amongst team and handling day to day issues* Comprehensive knowledge of state, federal, regulatory, investor and internal guidelines and policies in regard to mortgage loan closing process* Familiar with the current knowledge of loan closing and documentation procedure; close an average of 100 loans per month* Review loan packages to ensure the loans are saleable to end investor and meet all GFE & TIL compliance regulations* Perform the work of calculating aggregate escrow as well as preparing appropriate disclosures and documents necessary for closing, work closely with title companies on final HUD approvals, wires and funding* Performs the tasks of solving issues that might arise at before, during or after closing
