I'm currently pursuing my MSc in Geology at the University of British Columbia under the supervision of Dr. Maya Kopylova through the Diamond Exploration Lab. My research is focused on the effect of crustal xenolith assimilation on host kimberlite classification. I am using multiple analytical techniques including petrography, SEM, EMPA, and petrological modelling.Previously, I worked in the oil and gas industry. My most recent role was as a geologist for the South American Asset team focusing on offshore Brazil. I also have several years of experience in New Ventures primarily working on the pre-salt in the Santos and Campos basins. I developed marine seismic interpretation and mapping skills while gaining expertise in the unique Brazilian pre-salt environment.I worked as an asset geologist on an oil sands project where I supported daily operations in the field by assisting with steam splitting, steam tapering, and temperature monitoring. Drilled multiple wells as an Operations Geologist including a deviated, cored observation well and SAGD well pairs.Unconventional resource experience working the Montney, Duvernay, and Horn River Basin. Provided full petrophysical evaluations for multiple plays with a special focus on XRF technology.
