I am a Speech Pathologist currently working at Novita with an extensive caseload of clients ranging from 12 months old through to adulthood. I also have experience working as a clinical educator, supporting Speech Pathology students (Bachelor and Masters) on their third and forth roster placements.I have a strong interest in dysphagia + mealtimes and am currently supporting to run a mealtime clinic to provide intervention for clients with dysphagia, sensory mealtime goals and creation of OEDCP reports and documentation. An aspect of my job I always enjoy are the opportunities which allow me to liaise with families, schools and other allied-health professional that allow for meaningful and educational discussions to ensure a client-centred and holistic approach to therapy. I enjoy working in multi and trans-disciplinary teams and am alway learning new skills to support clients with multiple diagnoses and complex communication needs including trialling and implementing AAC. A personal goal of mine is to be fluent in Auslan sign language one day.
