    This was my third placement on the Graduate Leadership Programme. I analysed financial data and executed price adjustments to mortgage rates in a volatile rate environment to maximise profitability while balancing the implications of high volumes on service levels. This involved making complex decisions, influencing senior leaders and managing conflict to ensure commercial success. I was responsible for conducting the Customer Outcome Review for all new business mortgage customers which included analysing both quantitative and qualitative data. Using initiative, I implemented changes to the customer segmentation categories to better reflect the needs and preferences of customers.

    Second placement on the Graduate Leadership Programme.I conducted the Benefit Realisation Project, reviewing and reporting on the success of a variety of the Society’s change projects. Analysed both quantitative and qualitative data to provide a full picture. Collaborated with project managers and business area leads to understand the challenges experienced when both delivering the project and tracking benefits.Presented findings back to senior leaders. I worked with senior leaders to recommend changes to roles and responsibilities of key stakeholders and committees to ensure benefit tracking is consistently performed and reviewed. Began conversations with the People Team on how we can create psychological safety within the change space.

Collaborated with multiple stakeholders to define their responsibilities. Identified and addressed gaps in controls. Open Cases Data Clean Up Project – I identified process gaps and influenced stakeholders to obtain their support for implementing the new process. Consulted system developers to understand the capabilities of solutions and simplified findings to relay information to stakeholders for decision making.Conducted the Historic Trades Review to support the Quality Assurance team. This involved checking funds had been traded accurately. I analysed and summarised results, identifying themes of error and reported findings to senior leaders and Audit. Supported preparation for fund manager interviews by researching fund performance, changes to personnel and team structure, asset allocation, investment strategy and their ESG screening criteria.
