As Chief of Staff for FDW, I manage and advise on the overall strategic priorities of the practice, including eminence development, marketing, capability development, internal communication, financial reporting, training, and external speaking arrangements.

We advise CFOs and Finance executives on the creation of strategies and capabilities to support enterprise-wide decision-making, improve finance operations, and strengthen stakeholder management. Offerings include Finance Strategy, Finance Service Delivery Model, M&A Finance, Finance Operations Improvement, and Business Finance & Analytics.As Chief of Staff, I advised and supported all operational, strategic, and analytical activities for the practice and coordinated internal initiatives and overall strategy efforts. This included strategic activities (strategic planning, go-to-market campaigns, investment planning, analysis) as well as operational activities (reporting, communications, training, etc).

I was a Manager in Deloitte’s Strategy & Operations practice, specializing in Finance Transformation in the Healthcare Provider industry. I worked with large organizations in full cycle finance transformation projects, from design through to implementation. I led and supported a range of projects including operating model design and execution, finance function diagnostics, organizational design, process improvement, reporting and analysis, and cost reduction.

Crown is an ASX listed company in the entertainment industry. The Crown Entertainment Complex is Australia's largest integrated resort with its casino, three hotels, restaurants, shopping and entertainment facilities. The casino features 2,500 electronic gaming machines and 400 table games.Key Responsibilities:- Budgeting and forecasting (weekly, monthly and annually) of revenue, expenses and other non-financial metrics- Management reporting - preparation or review of daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly financial reporting to various levels of management- Regular analysis of labor, marketing and operating expenses - Identification / implementation of potential cost saving initiatives or process improvements- Ad hoc analysis and financial modeling for various projects- Management of capital expenditure process

Manager in Assurance division, responsible for managing audit teams of up to 12 staff members. As part of this role, I provided the knowledge and expertise necessary to help global and local clients with complex financial accounting issues relating to a range of financial and non financial performance issues. Key areas of focus: - Financial Statement Audit - IFRS Reporting - Regulatory Compliance and Reporting - Financial Reporting - Assistance on Capital Market Transactions I was based in Melbourne but also worked in New York for three months in 2008, and often worked for shorter periods in New York and LA on SEC listed entities. I worked with a range of clients from large, listed multi-national companies to small privately owned companies. I specialized in the infrastructure, property and funds management industries, but also have significant experience in the construction, travel and not-for-profit sectors.
