Amy D. Martindale is currently the Corporate Auditor of Nevada Casino Holdings, LLC. Working her way from the ground up in the casino industry, has provided Amy with a wealth of knowledge and hands-on education. Previously, Ms. Martindale was the developer and Director of the recognized CIS Academy program, formerly Fellows Academy, for CIS of Northeastern Nevada. She has applied her knowledge and experience with Workforce Investment Act youth funding by serving on the Nevadaworks Youth Council, Northern Nevada’s local Youth Workforce Investment Board. Ms. Martindale also serves on the Elko County Bully Prevention Committee, providing direction and support for the local school district. Before joining the Communities In Schools team in 2009, Amy worked with at-risk youth for 11 years teaching life-skills and core curriculum for the University of Nevada Reno Project MAGIC program and the Alternative/Intervention/Incarcerated Youth Programs for the Elko County School District. Ms. Martindale is the recipient of the 1999 Child Advocate of the Year Award for Elko County and the ETS Recognition of Excellence for scoring in the top 15% in the Nation for the Praxis exam: Principles of Learning and Teaching Grades 7-12. Amy holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mathematics Education from Western Governors University. In her spare time, Amy enjoys traveling and meeting new people.
