• Manage a team of School Sport deliverers ensuring they remain focussed and on task.• Continually adapt the Partnership to move with Government funding and agendas whilst keeping young people at the centre. • Influence headteachers and other key stakeholders to buy in to the SSP network both financially and morally. • Provide a coordinated and progressive calendar of events giving opportunities for all young people. • Develop and implement a customer focussed Continuing Professional Development (CPD) offer. • Coordinate a wide variety of networking events across the SSP area including cluster meetings and conferences. • Provide support and advice on new initiatives and developments from a national perspective; • Build strong working relationships with local and regional key partners to add value and expertise for mutual benefit. • Make all operational management decisions to achieve specified partnership objectives will establish priorities and allocate resources within established work programmes. • Have a clear vision and commitment to maximising opportunities, tackling inequalities and identifying the needs of individuals and groups and consequently designing and delivering programmes to meet those needs. •. Deadlines must be met and there is management of changing problems, circumstances or demand on a frequent basis. • Develop workable innovative options and solutions to increase access, engage the partners, develop different ways of working, respond to identified need, evolve training and ensure a performance improvement culture achieving best value.• Manage the finances of the Partnership for School Sport efficiently and effectively.• Submit Funding applications and deliver consequential project management of awards. • Manage the Community usage of school facilities during evenings and weekend including the team of employees.• Whole school EVC lead responsible for safeguarding and Risk Assessment

• Support the Youth Sport Trust (YST) to further enhance the learning experiences of practitioners and young people by communicating, connecting with and quality assuring the Learning Academy School Games Organisers.• Support the implementation and ongoing development of YST projects/focussed work in specialist areas. • Communicate and connect with School Games Organisers and be a regular point of contact. • Both advocate and demonstrate the vision and mission of YST. • Interpret data analytically and with rigor to ensure that support given has impact and legacy. • Ensure all School Games Organisers have a clear understanding of their role and the expected outcome of their work. • Ensure that sustainable change is achieved through the implementation of programmes and interventions that impact on local priorities. • Submit monitoring data and anecdotal evidence within deadlines. • Implement the Learning Academy Quality Assurance process to support the team. • Submit Quality Assurance report and monitoring to a high standard and within deadlines. • Provide targeted support to identified School Games Organisers to achieve their targets. • Provide check and challenge as a County Lead Development Coach in the North East area.
