Appointed by Governor Charlie Baker to the first Massachusetts Grid Modernization Advisory Council, per Mass. Gen. Laws ch. 164 § 92C to help support an equitable, cost-effective, resilient, and reliable transition to an improved, modernized grid.

Designed and implemented the Community Clean Energy Resiliency Initiative, a $40 million grant program focused on incorporating resilient clean energy technology in critical facilities across the Commonwealth. These included islandable micro-grids and innovative renewable energy solutions. Lead a team developing a $30 million Residential Solar Financing Program, working towards making direct ownership of solar PV installations more accessible to Massachusetts’s homeowners. Lead a team developing a $10 million Energy Storage Initiative with the aim to deploy advanced energy storage in Massachusetts and grow this industry sector in support of Massachusetts’ clean energy targets.
