Membership at the YMCA is more than gym and swim. Leading the team that focuses on recruitment and retention requires excellent customer service, well-trained staff and engaging programs. I ensure the value of membership is delivered and reinforced through all of the YMCA’s activities – from personal training to after-school care.

The Membership and Community Development team focuses on results-oriented recruitment efforts that open the door to Girl Scouts for more girls and adult volunteers in Oregon and SW Washington. We link the local knowledge and community connections of our volunteers with membership strategies and imaginative initiatives to reach new girls. We promote unified efforts from staff and volunteers to recruit, engage, train and support new and existing adult members. Our goal is to deliver on the commitment of the Girl Scout Promise and Law with clarity and joy, community by community, in order to grow our girl and adult volunteer membership.

The Membership Team focused on results-oriented recruitment and retention efforts for Girl Scouts on the plains of Texas. Linking community connections with imaginative recruitment initiatives, my team reached out to girls in the greater Fort Worth area, delivering on the Girl Scout Promise and Law to grow girl and adult membership.
