I'm President/CEO of The Climate Economy Education Inc, www.TheClimateEconomy.com, an Illinois 501(c)(3) nonprofit for education and experimentation on business models and lifestyles that are good for the climate (body), economy (mind), and humanity (soul). I'm putting all my energy towards helping American society and beyond make the changes that are absolutely necessary right now for humanity to continue to thrive. These include things like transforming human behavior, ending the use of fossil fuels for energy and replacing with more efficient energy use and clean renewable energy, and prioritizing justice and caring in the economy. Reducing our carbon footprint alone is great but it's not enough. Systemic, large-scale change is required for the way we get food, energy, and the things we need. There is no time to waste.I earned a bachelor's in business with a minor in entrepreneurship, a professional science masters in advanced energy and fuels management, an instrument rated pilots license. I also taught myself how to build websites in the early 2000's during her 7-year residence in Brussels, Belgium, and I've been building websites and doing online marketing ever since. I became interested in renewable energy and climate change through my work, education and research at SIU's Advanced Energy Institute. There, I worked to reduce campus energy use, and increase use of renewable energy on campus and in educational and research programs. I just turned 50 and I'm excited to begin the second half of my life. One of my favorite things is to help lift the voices and great work of all the fabulous women out there, and to join in and put my skills to work wherever and however I can.
