Manage the Programs Department, a team of eight, including therapeutic recreation, spiritual care, physiotherapy, volunteer services and employee wellness.Oversee resident programs, including community-based services and programs.Provide support and education for Resident Council and Family Councils.Management Chair for the Accessibility, Palliative Care and the Employee Wellness committees.Maintain the program and support services budget.Coordinate and evaluate the Continuous Quality Improvement activities of the department, in collaboration with the leadership team.Act as a resource person to staff and assist them in the interpretation of program standards for long term care homes, resident classification system, changes in legislation and regulation affecting the operation of the Home.Ensure that policy and procedure manuals affecting Program and Support Services are consistent with the Ministry policies and directives.Plan and coordinate the placement of students.
