Simultaneously, as a Denver Aquarium Biologist at the Downtown Aquarium, I ensure daily aquatic system maintenance and animal care, upholding the highest AZA standards.🌐 Professional Journey:In my role as a Policy Writing Fellow at the Colorado Science and Engineering Policy Fellowship, I've had the privilege of conducting legislative research for Senators Chris Hansen and Cleave Simpson. My work involved researching, authoring, and proposing innovative policies, particularly in the realm of wetland protections.🌲 Education and Outreach:I've had the honor of contributing to the education and outreach initiatives as a Summer Science Scholars Camp Counselor at the Center for Advanced STEM Education. In this role, I led class discussions, facilitated Spanish-English translation, assisted in research field trips, and managed group schedules.🔬 Academic Excellence:As a fellow in the first Denver chapter of CSU's Water Fellows program with One World One Water, I've immersed myself in advanced studies and collaborative projects focused on water-related issues.
